Yogyakarta Batik Museum
Museum Batik batik of Yogyakarta is the first museum in Yogyakarta was established on the initiative of Hadi Nugroho, owner of the museum. This private museum is located at Jalan Dr. Sutomo, Yogyakarta. The building is managed by husband and wife Dewi Hadi Nugroho. On May 12, 1977, this new museum was inaugurated by P & K Regional Office of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The museum is inhabiting an area of 400 m2 and once the residence owner.
In 2000, the museum received an award from MURI for the work 'embroidery Greatest', batik 90 x 400 cm2 size. Later in the year 2001, this museum was awarded the re-establishment of the MURI as initiators Museum of Indonesia's first sampler.
